Atlassian first released Jira in 2002. Twenty years ago. It’s unbelievable to think it’s been that long. Back then, Jira was purely for software development. But now, it has evolved into a tasking, listing and accountability tool that’s used in a variety of industries and teams, from Legal and HR, to Marketing. It’s not just a dev tool anymore.
