In the year 2016, Bill Gates was against the decision of purchasing its competitor Slack, instead, he wants the organization to improvise Skype for Business. The initial release of Microsoft Teams to public happened in the year 2017, and very recently the stable release 1.2.00.4664 of the product happened this year in the month of February. As we understand most of the corporate work routines run on Office 365 suite, the Microsoft Teams is one of the essential parts of it.

We released Zulip Server 2.0.3 today. This is a bug fix release, containing a few dozen cherry-picked changes since Zulip 2.0.2.

After the security incident at Matrix.org, we have decided to publish a new Riot.im Android app on the Google Play Store out of an abundance of caution. The fresh app is still called Riot.im but internally it has a different application identifier (im.vector.app). Because of this new id, the new app appears in Google Play as a completely different application. This also prevents an automatic update from the old to the new application.

After February’s release of Riot Web 1.0, it was time to take a step back, take some deep breaths, and to think big thoughts about the future. And then (ultimately) to write the very best of those thoughts on day-glo post-its and stick them to a large glass wall: the roadmap was born.

Pushover 3.4 has been released today for iPhone and iPad, Android, and Desktop, and brings full support for animated GIFs and monospace text support. Many Pushover users rely on our e-mail gateway to receive Pushover notifications from e-mails sent out by devices that don't directly support Pushover, such as security cameras.
