Work Categories in Flowace: Set Productivity Ratings Faster
Learn how to create a Work Category in Flowace and use it to set Productivity Ratings for many apps and websites at once.
A Work Category carries its own Productivity Rating, so it works as a template. Create a Communication category, mark it Productive, and any app or website you give that category follows the rating automatically. You can still edit a rating later.
In this video:
- The concept: a work category groups similar apps and websites, with a name, a colour and a productivity rating
- Open Admin Settings › Work Policies › Work Category
- Part 1, create a work category: add a name, choose a colour and set its Productivity Rating, then save
- Part 2, see the impact in Apps and Websites, and choose Apply changes to first
- Pick a category on an app or website and watch its rating update
- Do the same at Company, Team and Individual scope
- Know that editing a category later affects future selections only
- Click Publish to apply your changes
- See the output: Category Analysis splits each person's time by work category, and Top Category shows the split for a team
