New in Basecamp: Easier Edits

We're making Basecamp better! It's now easier to make quick edits. Before, editing titles or renaming tools in a Basecamp project took multiple steps, taking you to a different page, and then back again. We made it easier! Now, you can rename projects, tools, documents, messages and more without ever leaving the page. Simply click and make your changes.

New in HEY! Improved Email Threads

We just revamped an essential part of HEY — working with long email threads. Before, clicking one entry expanded all of them, which was disorienting. Now you can take a peek into individual messages in a thread, and the rest stay in place. HEY now reliably detects previous replies and tucks them away until you need them. Previous content will be collapsed, making reading and replying easier.

New in Basecamp: References

Now in Basecamp, linking to a message, to-do, card, event, document, or file automatically creates a Reference, instantly tying related things together. Simply copy the URL of the Basecamp item you're linking and paste it into your message, comment, chat, or ping. References appear in a separate tab alongside comments. Of course, you only see References from projects and conversations that you can access.

New in Basecamp: Share Card Tables with anyone in the world

Card Tables help visualize tasks in a workflow, like bug fixes or design requests. Simply add a card and track its progress toward completion. Now it's possible to take that same Card Table and share it with people outside of your account! Turn on a public link and anyone with the link can view it without logging into Basecamp.
